Casaluna Hotel Elopement, San Miguel de Allende | Alejandra + Jesus

San Miguel de Allende is a magical destination for an intimate wedding or elopement and Casaluna Hotel is the most romantic and intimate venue in San Miguel! When I initially spoke with Alejandra and Jesus, they shared their interest in wanting something very special, intimate and romantic with just the two of them. They were looking for a beautiful ceremony and then photos around the city they love, San Miguel de Allende. Based upon what they shared, I suggested Casaluna Hotel which is one of my favorite romantic destinations in San Miguel for intimate elopements and weddings.

Casaluna Hotel is a boutique, classic colonial hideaway and retreat in the heart of the historic center of San Miguel de Allende. It’s romantic gardens and colorful decor make this the perfect setting for an intimate destination elopement in San Miguel de Allende.

We started with Alejandra and Jesus’ ceremony in the garden area of Casaluna Hotel. They wrote their own vows which were filled with such love, honesty and joy. They are truly perfect for each other! After their ceremony, we wandered around the cobblestone streets of San Miguel taking photos and enjoying the day.

Alejandra and Jesus have been together for nine years, but met when they were just fifteen years old. How wonderful is that! They are from Mexico City, but now call San Miguel de Allende home and host a wonderful Airbnb experience creating a silver ring with a Mexican opal.
